Full-Stack Engineer

AEP Hawaii is placing Full-Stack Engineers with our portfolio of venture-backed startup clients spanning Seed through Series C. These are production-ownership seats at companies shipping real product to real customers. You will ship features, own the infrastructure underneath them, and help set the engineering bar as the team grows. Open to Hawaii-based engineers and top-tier US remote candidates.

Ship Production Code: Own features end-to-end, from product spec to deployed and monitored in production.
Craft: Write code that your teammates trust. Raise the bar through code review.
Infrastructure: Contribute to CI/CD, IaC, observability, and secrets management.
Product Sense: Sit close to customers, understand the problem, ship what matters.
Cloud Fluency: AWS or GCP, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform).
Occasional Travel: Quarterly team offsites or customer site visits.

4+ years of full-stack engineering. Startup shipping experience preferred.
Deep React / TypeScript on the front end. Node, Python, or Go on the back end.
Cloud and containerization fluency.
Security-mindful (OAuth, SAML, secrets management).
US citizen or authorized to work. Clearable a plus for defense-adjacent placements.
Bias to action. Comfortable shipping v1 and iterating.
