- Compensation: $135,000 - $180,000 + equity
The Opportunity
- Function Health is a Series B healthcare tech company redefining how people understand and take control of their health. The Ezra team is looking for a QA Engineer who has built test automation at scale and knows what it takes to raise the quality bar across a fast-moving engineering org.
Responsibilities
- Design and scale automated test frameworks with broad coverage across unit, integration, API, and E2E layers.
- Own test strategy and execution across web and backend systems, identifying gaps and systematically closing them.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Instrument and maintain performance and load testing to ensure reliability at scale.
- Champion QA best practices, tooling standards, and a culture of quality across the engineering team.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8+ years in software QA or Software Quality Engineering, including 3+ years building test automation at scale.
- Proven success designing automated test frameworks and growing coverage across unit, integration, API, and E2E layers.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman or REST clients, and load/performance tooling.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how quality gates integrate into modern engineering workflows.
- Healthcare or regulated industry experience is a plus.
